Facts man
yeah! disappointing
I can't get over how good the animation is in this series--some of the best I've ever seen in donghua. I just wish this MC didn't ooze Disney-esque dorkiness lol.
There was still one more match before that after the fire guy. Otherwise, he'd at best end up in 1st 8 with no reward and story wouldn't progress further because top 4 get sent to a mission.
The girl pretty much forfeited the finale due to the wounds from this fight
From last episode of what you said, I thought she didn't even try to fight but this shows she still fought and just lost, is it accurate??
Nope, I said they fought until both broke down. The only reason why she won in novel was the fact that she is level 8, while he is level 4. She can simply take more damage. I even said she is forced to draw sword which is beyond her control just to win this fight.
Last clash is also different. No seeing little sister. In fact she warns he should be prepared not to die, because she can't control the strength and he answers this is for the best... otherwise she might die because he is the same. And then they do full clash.
In novel, after last clash he falls unconscious for few days, while she can't even stand. But, that is enough to win. Next fight, which is next day, she is still so badly hurt she can't even put resistance and loses the finale even though she is far stronger than opponent when in normal condition.
You probably missed that no resistance was about finale.
Ohhh ok, yeah I misinterpreted that, thanks for clearing that up for me. Well I look forward to the next episode and your breakdowns.
Its so easy for them to always shit on, and underestimate the MC under dog. Now all i'm saying is how far down the rabbit hole will it take for his plot armor, to fully blossom out his OPness and he say F the haters and become a badass MC, or for the girl to regret giving up on him.
Heh, I won't spoil... I'll just give you a little clue which was cut from the novel.
Originally, there was one cultivation (internal + external, one draws body energy of the soul and one draws energy from nature). Then it came to internal strife between top 3 people and each fought for his own belief and that led to three directions. Sect that MC is part of is practicing external, buddhist direction is practicing internal (MC got this in ep.1) and so called "evil" direction is practicing partial internal combined with partial external (MC gets access in about 5 episodes where he also realizes that whole shit is the same as evil method provides link and some overlaps between other two). So called evil is nothing but defamation of the loser after the war where other two directions joined forces (their cultivation doesn't overlap, so cooperation is possible), not to mention they pretty much sought few brutal evil examples and set them as the story what "evil" is, but MC in the novel realizes not far from here how much bullshit that is. It comes down to question "who is evil... gun... or man?"
Biggest power of MC is access to complete cultivation, but if he shows it... he is enemy no.1 of everyone.
Oh interesting, thanks for the info!!
But will they ever show the reality (or expand on) of the MC's situation and why he's angry?? They gave a glimpse at the end with his depressing sad walk lol, but it was kind of mild to me. If the sect looks like they treated him fairly, then he'd have no reason to be angry to that point besides feeling betrayed by the girl he "loves" and her disrespectful behavior towards him. Other than that, which is just a little heartbreak, puppy love really aha, he'll get over that, especially with the sword beauty around!!
It is not that he wasn't treated fairly, bigger resentment came from not being treated at all. And in the rare occasion when he was, treatment was detrimenting
Damn, that makes it even worse holy crap, not even being someone to even have ANY kind of treatment shows how much they not only didn't care for him but literally had no thoughts of him to even care about smh. Basically like a freaking ghost!!
Interesting. Just how powerful is that heirloom with the red crystal that he inherited? It looked like there was a greenish figure underwater when he acquired it, off in the distance, but much of the head/chest was hidden. I assume it's the original owner?
Well, don't want to spoil too much, but very soon his stick (which is already OP), merges with the ball... go figure ;)
I'm kind of annoyed and pissed how they keep making it seem like they care for the MC but then do something contradicting every time smh. Especially after seeing the true novel versions from the guy under that was cut out, it's slightly angering me.
Lol, I would guess the story is a bit too grim toned and they were scared they will lose viewers. I mean... when Biyao tells her life story... NOPE, NO WAY THEY ARE GOING TO FOLLOW THAT!!! That is one either beautiful heart warming sobbing story or worst imaginable fucking horror story, it depends from the side you look at it, but the content of that says 90% people would be engrossed or even horrified. That is definitely part it will need redaction comment, lol
I think alot of ppl like myself would have loved the darker tone better
True,... in probably every other case, but stories like the one Biyao tells are waaaaaaaaaay above normal threshold.
So, in order to survive... 3 to 4 year child ate mothers flesh which mother gave smiling and without complaints until she died from self inflicted wounds. I'd say this far exceeds normal grim which is acceptable in current culture
If you read the spoiler, I think you understand why I said I can't decide if this is one helluva beautiful story or unimaginable nightmare. Depends on angle which you look from, but I doubt that 90% of ppl could bypass daughters angle and look from mothers
Ahaha, I can see them saying/thinking that, but at least make sure it's a equal to better replacement then!!
When I have my works animated and more, I'ma make sure they don't screw mine up smh.
Why the fk
Why the fukkkkkkk, is this bastard that much of a simp
After all his hard work MC still got no respect from his peers. The Elders are trying to take his weapon and discredit him. If it was me, I would just pack up and leave. Try my luck elsewhere.
Jesus Christ you just know what China such a dumphole from The episode Fat t*rd is literally complaining that someone helped that kid out
Wow. Lot's of hate for the mc here, but I thought this was one of the best donghua episodes I have seen in a long time. most usually just suck tbh. I thought they managed to grab some emotions pretty well, which anime is usually pretty good at the feels, while donghua is mostly just posturing and face-slapping...lather, rinse, repeat.
still a loser until the end lol..... wow, pathetic...
Why tf he simp out
I hate this anime becauseof MC .no doubt left.MC is a big simp and doesn't care about what happened to him during childhood and now chasing bitches madly.ruined fun .I quit
Oh this Sect is so full of ish. Fighting evil puh lease! You just "adopted" two orphans and never investigated what happened so spare us the moral high ground you're trying to stand on. The issue isn't the weapon but who the weapon belongs to.
Omg! This is so fucking sus.
Was wondering why I hadn't watched this but now I remember why I dropped this garbage.
i wish the mc dies this is total bullshit fuck him
like what is even that shit
the bitch said she wants to be with the other guy then move on man shit fuck this i'am out
STILL GONNA WATCH shit is getting good
Grookey and its stick
Is there a wiki for this Donghua? I'm trying to find if there is any couples but I cant find the usual Wiki/Fandom.
i don't think they have but if you can't wait about what will happen you can try the drama (a bit of boring tho) ver. legend of chusen
That's unfortunate, thanks for the reply though.
Hate when they make the MC simps
